Julie A. Bowman, RRT, RCP is the founder and president of
HME Solutions, LLC, which offers HME business consulting in the areas
of Operations Strategy, Business Execution and Accreditation.
She is the author of "The Keys to Best Practice Operations for the
HME Business Owner", a book of valuable ideas to operate a more
efficient business in these ever changing times. She is the co-author
of the "HME Business Builder", an industry newsletter.
Currently, Julie works in many areas of HME Accreditation. She is a
surveyor for ACHC and consults in the area of accreditation. She also
publishes the HME Accreditation Simplified Manual, a policy and procedure
manual that equips the HME supplier for accreditation.
Julie is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with twenty-three years
experience in the Home Medical Equipment Industry. She has been an
HME business owner and has also been an operations executive in a
large national organization, managing over 50 HME offices. Additionally,
she held positions of Vice President of Compliance and Best Practice in
that organization.
As an active participant in trade organizations, Julie served as
President of the Colorado Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers
and served for two years on the Board of Directors of the National
Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers (now the American Association
of Homecare).
